A tasting tale of Buchan's finest produce
Saplinbrae is hosting a unique evening, where we invite you behind the scenes to discover and celebrate the stories of Buchan’s farming and fishing heritage, followed by a tasting supper using the best local produce and matching drinks.
This exclusive event is being held on Friday the 7th of October at Saplinbrae Hotel. Learn all about farming, fish and food from Jo and Noel Gall, farming hoteliers from Saplinbrae, and Jimmy Buchan from Amity Fish. The evening will be held as part of the North East Food & Drink Provenance Festival 2022.
The talented chefs from Saplinbrae will be demonstrating batch-cooking with meats from the Gall family farm at Kininmonth. There will also be some hands on langoustine shelling and cooking with Jimmy, amongst other interactive foodie moments during the night. Guests will enjoy small plates from each demo alongside paired drinks, including beer from Brewtoon and more to be announced.
Tickets: £35 per person with a £15 supplement to include paired drinks.
